Leadwell LTC-50 Series
A large capacity CNC turning centre with box ways on all axes.
15" Chuck with large through hole spindle for 4.5" bar capacity.
(An optional 18 inch chuck is available)
Z axis available up to 4,100mm - excellent for machining long parts.
45 degree slant bed provides maximum stability and rigidity.
Massive bed construction from cast iron designed using Advanced Finite Element Analysis to ensure the location and size of all internal ribs for maximum torsional stiffness and minimum vibration.
Ball screws are pretensioned for extra rigidity and reduced thermal growth ensuring the highest accuracy.
Extra wide span oversized box ways in combination with the extremely rigid base frame provide the possibility of high precision, high horsepower machining and outstanding stability for precision turning.
The tailstock is hydraulic and programmable on all LTC-50 models adding to the rigidity of the machine.
High Productivity Options
Tool Setter
The tool setter is a touch probe type that can measure the varying tool lengths and detect broken tools. It can be easily programmed to store all of the tool information to reduce setup time.
Easy Chip Disposal
The 45 degree slant bed design allows chips to fall into the chip tank avoiding accumulation inside the machine.
Coolant nozzles wash chips into the tank.
The chip tank has large wheels making it easy to move for chip removal and cleaning.
An optional chain type chip conveyor is available.
