The Puma CSJ 1300-30 servo tapping arm brings technology to tapping arms at a very affordable price. This tapping arm uses a servo motor to precisely control the speed and the depth of the spindle. A touch screen controller is located on the arm of the machine and has advanced features that can be programmed.
The depth of the spindle can be programmed along with the size of the tap with will calculate automatically the pitch. Once you put the machine in auto you push a button and the spindle will feed down automatically until the programmed depth and then reverse out of the job.
Laser cutting companies and workshops that need tapping capabilities will find this machine an asset, no air is needed either and the Puma servo tapping arm comes standard with a heavy duty base.
