The SMTCL TPX series of horizontal manual boring and milling machines are a great cost effective solution for those businesses not needing a CNC boring machine but wanting a heavy duty manual borer.

The TPX range offers numerous sizes, specs and options to enhance an already well optioned up machine. Suitable for rough and finished boring and capable of milling large and box type components.

The TPX excels at inner hold boring, cylindrical turning and grooving by radial feed of the face plate. A 4 x 90 optical positioning device allows for machining accuracy when turning large pieces. The precision digital readout measurement systems ensures accuracy of coordinates and lineation.

The high quality spindle has a 3 layer mechanism ensuring high rotational accuracy and the 3 point support provides high rigidity and quality.

The user friendly layout of the control panel provides flexible and convenient centralised operation. The controller gives additional flexibility of hydraulic pre selection of speed and feed rates.

All moving components feature electro hydraulic interlocks. Only one component moves while all the others a locked in place.
